4weeks

Its already been 4weeks that we have been into the school year. 1st grade is going great this year. She gets homework about 4times a week, and usually super easy and she has it done in no time. :)

She is almost done with cheerleading and she has loved every minute of it. We have had very good weather too, so I cant complain to much.

On Saturday I am taking her to sign her up for Girl Scouts. They are doing a 3cheers for animals and they are going to tell them all about animals. Im super excited, maybe just a little bit more then her ;)

1 week

Wow. Its already been 1 full week that Maddie has been in school. Last yr she never got homework well this past week she has already had 3 homework assignments. This is something new to us. :)

She is liking 1st grade and really seems to like her classmates and teacher. On Fridays she gets to wear her Cheerleading uniform to school to show there spirit for Norsemen.

She has games every saturday, thankfully the weather has been nice for all her games. She has cheerleading pictures and school pictures coming up in the next 2 weeks. Once I get them back I will make sure to upload them here.

1st grade at last

1st Grade

Today Maddisyn is offically a 1st grader. Her day went great! She told me she didnt have enough time to eat her lunch, which makes me a little upset I am hoping its because she just wanted to go outside. I hope she had enough time to eat.

She really like her teacher which is an A+ She told me that her teacher let them have a 5min rest because most of the kids arnt use to getting up so early and she told me she fell asleep LOL already haha. Then she goes on to say she woke herself up.

I know its been awhile

I know I havent been on here to update this blog in a while. Maddie enjoyed Kindergarden, she met so many great friends and had one amazing teacher. Her Teacher and I became really good friends. Its sad to think she is going to have a new teacher and be in 1st grade. I hope this teacher is as sweet and nice as Mrs Shultz is.

Since I last updated, Maddie was in the top reading group in her class, she had a great last day of school they did field day.

I cant believe this summer vaction is almost over. She is offically a Cheerleader. She has cheered at 2 games already and loves every minute of it. I know this is one sport that she enjoys. She pays attention is so into it.

I hope that I can get her into Girl Scouts this year as well. She starts school on September 6th.
She is bored and is so ready to go back to school. We get to go and met her teacher this Wednesday. Im super excited!

Its 100th Day

So today Maddisyn has been in school for 100 days so they had a little party. Maddisyn decided to bring in 100 of her rocks in a baggie. She told me that they played games, each child showed what they brought and then they had 100 cheerios in a baggie for snack, so over all it was a fun 100ths day at school.

Gosh this school year is just flying bye. Before you know it she will be done with school.

Happy Valentines Day

Today Maddisyn had her Valentines Day Party, I was a little upset I couldnt go to her party because I had to work so I made it up and took her to a movie.

I picked her up from school, got home looked through all her valentines day cards, and then I had her get ready and we headed out to The Red Tomatoe. While we were eatting, I told her I had a suprise and then told her I was taking her to the Justin Bieber Movie she was super excited.

We both really enjoyed the movie then we stopped by target on are way home and I bought her the Bieber CD.

1-10-11

Well Maddisyns field trip to the dentist got canceled, due to her teachers son being sick. So Im not sure if they will go at a later date or not. Kids are so funny. Today Maddie came home and told me that she told Anna, "I'm wearing a bra"(shaking her head while her hands are on her hip saying it LOL) and Anna goes "so I don't have boobs so I don't have to"! How funny are they!
