Parent Night

Tonight was Parent Night at Maddisyns school. We dropped off the "important" papers and then they had some people set up in the gym area, I was hoping to sign her up for brownies but for some reason they weren't there . Then we found her locker and we went and met her teacher and saw her classroom.
Her teacher is awesome, this is the first time I met her and I already love her She told us a little bit about herself, she has taught at this school for 9 years but Kindergarten is her passion. She has 3 kiddos they all attend the same school Maddie will be going to.
Then she started telling us that if we ever had anything even if we thought it was a stupid question to call her and then she started to cry, she got so emotional it was so cute, then I got a lil teary eyed. She just explained that she loves these kids like she loves her own.Im super excited for Maddisyn to start. On the first day of school they get to bring a stuffed animal and they will get to do treasure hunt with all there animals and learn about the classroom teddy bear, then every Monday Maddisyn gets to bring in something for show and tell
I'm really excited for her to begin her journey. I know Tuesday I will be sad and get teary eyed dropping her off, but I know that she will learn soo much.
